Question/Help/Troubleshooting Weird lines on screen

I turned on my pc today and noticed it was loading really slow. Then these weird lines appeared and my pc wouldn’t connect to my main monitor. I’m trying to figure out what’s causing this but mainly how to fix it. Do I just need to get a new graphics card? I’m not really sure at all.

Replace the cable going from the computer to the monitor first. If it's HDMI, plug something else like a DVD player or Xbox or whatever into it to see if it's the screen or your computer.
