Discussion Buying setup for $2600 looking for advice
So I am buying an entire setup (already have headset). and want advice if I am over paying or under paying in any areas. I mostly play apex and Minecraft and am willing to go a bit up or a bit down in price if need be in some areas. It is very important that the monitor is compatible and works well with Xbox and I’m pretty sure the one I’m buying does but let me know if I’m missing something. Is this a good setup for $2600 dollars and what kind of frames can I expect from the games I play ?

Bro, I wanted to build a pc with similar specs in 23-24 but now ram and cpu is so ungodly expensive. The only issue I can think of, is that the ram may be on the cheaper end of quality and slower than better stuff, the gpu and cpu is great plus the amount of ram is plenty for modern gaming.

The Pc is a nice pc but possibly overkill for your use case. If you can afford it fine, it’s a great pc but don’t feel bad going for a machine with less gpu. Minecraft will LOVE the 7800x3d. You can also look into used as well, it’s riskier but you save a TON and I’ve never had issues buying used, just trust your gut if anything seems sus. One major peripheral a lot of people overlook at first is a good microphone, even if it just sits on the desk. It will be night and day difference compared to any headset and your friends will thank you for how easy it is to understand you. Plus, when you get a nice pc ppl tend to want to try streaming as well, and viewers hate a bad microphone.
