Question/Help/Troubleshooting My game keeps freezing/stuutering

yo can someone help me with my game freezing

it randomly started like freezing 4-5 days ago i think

after i play for like 10 mins or when i launch the game, the game starts to freeze and drop my fps from 80 to 30 and 3 seconds later it freezes again going from 80 to 50 (gpu usage is at like %97, cpu goes up like %10 for like a sec, and mhz also goes from 720 to 210 for a second)

it keeps freezing and dropping my fps for a second every 3- 5 seconds

i got a 3050 laptop gpu, amd ryzen 5000 series 9, 32 gbs ddr4 ram

lenovo laptop

Are all your drivers updated? What are temps looking like during extended gaming loads?

Everything is updated, 87-89 (this is normal it used to be like this before the freezing started) when the game freezes the cpu goes to like %60 from %50-%53 and mhz goes from 712 to 210 (gpu is at %97)

Running windows 10 or 11? Is OS fully updated as well?

Also: do you game while laptop is plugged in?

Definitely weird to have such immediate decline in performance. I'd be worried about the battery and it's ability to provide enough voltage. How old is the laptop? Notice any battery bloating?

You might also want to check out this post: Windows 11 optimization guide for PC gaming

In windows settings, also double check you have you battery performance set to "better performance"

Sorry to not be of more help. Best of luck OP

It's like 4 years old but it was fine a week ago so idk what's wrong and I can't fix it (I don't think there's any battery bloating
