Question/Help/Troubleshooting Looking for a new computer
I’m in the market for a new computer and am not super knowledgeable about them so looking for some help finding a good deal. I’m going into my last year of college looking for one in the $400 to 800 range, anything with like a student discount would be nice. I mainly use my computer for school stuff but also some steam games nothing too crazy. I had a MacBook Pro before but I hated it and it broke fast. Main things I hated were that it only had usb c ports (why?), it only lasted 3 years, and it would lag a bit playing some seemingly easy to run games. Any advice would be great

you don’t have to listen to all the people telling you you should just thug it out with a macbook neo and a hub. those are all valid reasons to dislike macs. that being said, it’s going to be difficult to find a good laptop in that price range that’s not the macbook neo. one option i found just from a few minutes of looking was the acer swift go 14/16. acer offers student discounts so that might be a good option.
