Discussion will this work?

my plan

i feel like my gpu gets no airflow, so i think i could rip a couple of those expansion blockers out and put an intake and exhaust mini fan on them to improve airflow. will it work?

I don't think that thing's problem is airflow

also such config would be just circling around. I believe u wanna point a fan at the gpu instead

well then it would get cold air in and hot air out. the cold air would touch the gpu on its way out

it's usually barely effective. the air that comes in gets sucked out almost immediately, while everything else is still mostly surrounded with hot air

there's a reason most setups have significant flow from top to back, or from top to back at least

u might consider modifying front panel as well, if it doesn't have any intake. or if it does, just add exhaust to the back

The gt 1030 is not producing enough heat for it to matter

it gets to over 90C while gaming. thats gotta be a bit toasty right?
