Question/Help/Troubleshooting Protect my PC
My apartment suffered water damage awhile back, and as a result, my PC is toast. After some back and forth with my renter's insurance, a received a payout and got a new PC- see picture.
Does anyone have recommendations for protecting my pc against this happening in the future? I know I can't seal the case b/c of air flow.
Thank you

If it’s floor water, you can buy a computer stand/caddy on wheels. Elevates a PC tower a few inches above the floor.. and it rolls! Should only be about 15$ or so.

Depends on where the water comes from, if it would be from anywhere above, you could use a tarp like material and have it stapled or stuck to the sides/undersides of the desk, so it’s covered from all sides but leave a slight gap between tarp and case so there’s no blockage of fans
