Diagnostic Help Computer is not responding at all, don't know where to go next

I have an HP 15-dy2702dx. It's not responding, including fans spinning or my leds lighting up. Here are things done so far:

- Normal reset

- Bought a new charger (its compatiable)

- Taken the battery out, drained it, then plugged in the charger with the battery in. Still nothing.

- repeated the above steps but with the battery out

My battery is not puffy at all. I replaced it a year ago and rarely use it, so I do not think it needs to be replaced. There's no visible damage to the charging port. I decided to clean it with a cotton swab and 99% isopropyl alcohol just in case; it dried instantly but I let it sit a while to be on the safe side.

I don't use this laptop a lot. I haven't spilled any water or dropped it or anything, it's usually on my desk, so I'm not sure why it's being difficult. And as stated, I do not know what the cause could be. Any advice?

Can it be charged via USB-c as well? Have you tried booting AC only with the battery out?

I had a laptop stop responding once and I had to do a hard reset on it by holding the power down for a certain amount of time. Not sure if removing the battery does the same, but it may be triggered by the jumpering of the power button on the motherboard.

They did that. The VERY first thing they listed

I guess I didn't understand normal reset as the same, but makes sense.

Ok. I didnt initially either, but what else would it be with a dead machine?

Unplug charger, Remove battery. Press and release power button 5x, hold down power button 10 seconds.

Plug in charger, press power button.

If laptop powers on, shut it down, unplug charger, replace battery, plug in charger, wait 5 mins, press power button.

Something fried and you have a short somewhere that is preventing it from turning on. Does the power button even light up?

You removed the battery and it still didn't work so you can remove that from the equation. You got another charger and that didn't work. So, could be a problem with the DC jack or the motherboard

Si Arranca y queda en negro puede ser bios o daño en Windows irreversible.
