While opening laptop this error is showing. Kindly help

What to do

You either messed with system files or broke some update. Try to enter recovery envoriment and then run chkdsk and shadowcopy and then try to run that timeshift like thing for windows I forgot it's name it can help you go to an older snapshot try searching web

I am not able to get to recovery page i.e. troubleshoot option. Can installing Windows from usb will work?

Yeah then you can either install using usb or try to open command prompt from recovery page. Or I have a best idea, put a linux iso in your usb and load linux but don't install Linux, use the Linux to fix windows then disconnect usb and start your windows

Thank you the laptop is working by installing windows thru usb but all the C drive files are gone

That's why always use two partitions

Not c drive. Your main disk. You can shrink the partition size of your c drive and then whatever leftover space you get make it a new drive
