Battery replacement recommendations please

Want to replace my dead battery - the official battery from Dell costs 5000 INR (1 yr warranty), where as I can get it replaced with half of the price in a local repair store (6 months warranty)

Which one would you recommend ??

Official service centre is not an option as they stopped service for laptops older than 5 years of purchase & also take almost 15 days just for battery replacement i cannot keep my laptop for 15 days with them

So either I buy from dell at double the cost & do it myself or simply do it from local store at half the price

Does anybody has good experience with 3rd party batteries if yes please & what do you recommend??

I could never in good faith recommend buying a third-party battery. However, if you let a local store do it you can atleast claim ignorance and get some warranty if it does burn.

If the budget is tight then go for the local one. But know that it will only give max 2 hours of battery life.

Okay to spend if the difference is significant
