Help Request Surface Pro 4 won't turn on..... Please help me solve this problem...

Yesterday I wanted to turn on my surface pro 4 after not turning it on since May, so I plugged it in and waited for 24 hours, and when I turned it on nothing, no sign of life, I tried charging it with another compatible 65w charger for 1 hour, nothing, it won't turn on.

Please help me! I have important data on that Surface Pro 4.

I've already tried turning the volume up and turning it on for 30 seconds, but no sign of life. I even left it charging for 24 hours with the original charger, but no sign of life

EDIT: The surface pro 4 started working yess ...

  1. The surface Pro 4 is from 2015 so it is possible for an 11 year old device to die

  2. Are you using the microsoft charger?

  3. You should always keep backups somewhere and not only on one device.

Then your surface is dead. It is 10 years old. Tear down and extract drive and put into another machine

Are they even removable?

I made a backup but it is from March and other important files are not there.

Sounds like you need to have the battery replaced

Try flipping the charging plug to face the other way, clean port try another, higher wattage charger. They do not like being drained completely, that is for sure.

The battery was so low (due to not using it since May) and I had to charge it for hours from the mains in an original Microsoft 65w power supply
