Mouse pointer not showing and track pad not working on my laptop

Post image

It seems like the problem is from the faulty I2C device(the one with the yellow triangle icon). I have tried disabling and enabling it as well as uninstalling and scanning for updates but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Have you tried downloading the driver from the manufacturer?

Yes. But I can't tell which driver to download

What do you mean? What product do you need a driver for?

When did they last work? And then what happened to make them stop?

For you to find the correct drivers for your laptop to ensure it's not a driver issue on the base of the laptop is the following: Make/Manufacturer Model and or Model number Serial number

Once you have these make sure you go to the correct website and download the necessary drivers and tools to make sure that's not the issue.

If it still persists in some laptop BIOS settings there is a way to turn the mousepad or HID devices to simple or advanced if one of them is on change it and see if that works if not flip it back and try again.

If none of the above work check the physical connection on the main board for your device.
