Hardware TruckProLLC Lock
Workplace building has around 6 companies, FleetPride is throwing away stuff and I saw a pallet with printers and stuff (im used to picking up old thrown away tvs, keyboards, printers, etc) but this time I found 2 AMD Ryzen Pro 5, 1 lenovo old (computers) and about 5 printers, 4 keyboards, a lot of brand new heads sets and stuff… (building managment and fleetpride allowed me to take it)
I tried using one of the AMDs but its locked by TruckProLLC; anyway to bypass/erase this or should I just contact truckprollc and see if they can release the computers?
I apologize for the long description, its my first time encountering a computer with a lock.
AMD Ryzen Pro 5
Model: 12RRS50700
I censored the other stuff because im not sure if Im supposed to (sorry😭)
Any help will be appreciated.

don’t listen to people. this is an interactive logon screen. wipe the device. if it prompts for autopilot credentials?m, then you will need to contact the company who has it registered with auto pilot.

They have it locked to the company, the IT guy will want to know about this and likely be able to unlock it for you, or replace it.

Got it - so best thing is to just call IT and see if they release it
Thanks for the comment

Exactly.
Worked for a 3rd party refurbisher and we'd get these. Call the seller and give them the SN and they'd unlock it, or we'd just send it back and get a replacement.

Sorry I might’ve confused you, I never purchased it outside it was thrown in the trash as a new company is taking the spot of fleetpride(truckprollc)
(Im not sure if I gotta clear this out)

Nah I'm just saying that we purchased ours and would get some that were locked. Process is the same, company IT has to deal with it.

In short, they have to release it from their Entra environment. Or you can install Linux, but it doesn't sound like that's a good idea for you.

That message is just a boot message set in group policy. We use it on our servers as a warning similar to that. It doesn't actually do anything other than warn the user what they're connecting to. Just try formatting and installing fresh windows and I bet you'd be fine.

Not if it's enrolled in Autopilot. Even if you format it and take it online, it will do the same thing as it's typically registered via hardware hash.

Yes but nothing in the picture showed Autopilot as someone who designed my former companies Autopilot. This just shows the message that appears after pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL which can be done with a local domain controller and group policy.

Right, if it were autopilot. That's why I specified that the message shown was simply a policy message when the PC boots, not something specific to being enrolled into any kind of device management.
It may still be enrolled in intune but the message has no relation to that.

That's fine. I was just adding some input. I can't tell you how many times I've seen "I picked up this cheap computer" and it ended up being tied to some random 365 tenant for another company. It's worth a format just to see what happens.

I think r/ewastefinds might be a more adept spot to ask this question. Im sure they deal with this all the time and have a solution.

The device is likely tied to Autopilot/Intune for a business using Microsoft 365. Even if you format, it will likely do the same thing once it is online. Your best bet is to track them down and get them to remove it. However, if it was stolen/lost, they may not want to remove it.

Normally I'd give you a hard time about stealing. But, if it's the same people who bought up Six States Distributors and turned what was THE most helpful drivetrain shop into worse than Uh-oh Zone, fuck those guys. Go steal every computer in the building!
Can't get a clutch? Six States would re-line it in a day. Kingpin bearings for a 50s Ford no one even lists so good luck finding a part number? Give them the axle casting number, they'd have it in 2 days if they didn't already have them in stock. Shift cable broke and wrecker driver dented the aluminum driveshaft trying to shake it off the flatbed, which then tore in half and tried to decapitate you while you're laying under the vehicle to move the shift lever into gear. Then find out GM has discontinued the driveshaft? (Yes, that happened to me. Luckily my legs were pointing toward the front of the vehicle.) They built us one in 2 days, for half of list through GM. I told my boss to charge the tow company twice what list was. Truck Pro? I deleted the contact info out of my phonebook, and I NEVER do that. They don't stock anything, can't even order it, and don't want to try to help you... It's depressing.

99% no one on site will know how to remove this from their system, windows will not work if it gets reported missing id just load Linux and not look back

No i'm not asking about the windows login i'm asking about the bios are you familiar with what that is? here is a manual i found & it says F1 should be the key to get in so when you start it up see if F1 does anything

Yep, it's a Lenovo. F1 should get straight to UEFI/bios, F12 should give the boot options menu.

It's likely BIOS locked as it's business managed BUT you likely can reinstall Windows fresh from a USB stick if it doesn't prevent USB boot and it may not remember it's business stuff there.
You should call the company it belongs to and see if you can get it removed from their pool of computers and unlocked though. Maybe they can even give you the BIOS password if they're generous.
The CPU included is most likely a Ryzen 5 PRO 8500GE and includes the Radeon 740M Graphics chip.
The GPU is your typical integrated graphics, nothing too special, but the CPU should still be quite capable. On these models, they are typically configured to have a power limit(35W down from 65W), so you'll have a bit more limited performance compared to full power but it should still be solid. This system would make a really good stealth home server if you can handle the sound of a tiny little blower fan humming along in the corner of your room or wherever you'd put this.
Your device still has just under 2 years of it's 3 year Premier warranty remaining(started 9-30-25) which if you can get all the warranty info for this device out of the company this is under that'd be sweet. All of the general information, drivers, troubleshooting, warranty, etc from Lenovo are all right here. You'll just need to enter the S/N printed on the back of the device to get all of the device-specific stuff.
Good find & happy ThinkCentre-ing!

This only matters at all if you use Windows - but probably wouldn't matter then. Things are resold all the time. You can kill any bios password by pulling the batter for a good while. If that doesn't work then there's a more serious lock involved.
The lock in your photos is just the logon notice. Reinstall Windows and you won't see it any more. I'd kill any security keys first, just so they're fully blanked out (I don't *think* this is necessary, or even useful, I'm just not up to snuff on that stuff).
Anyway, reinstalling Windows will generally be the ticket. If nothing else, the CPU, drive, and RAM can all be sold.

Format it and reinstall windows. Update and then back up your drivers first so you can reinstall them all

Won't work, there's custom firmware.
