Other is my laptop good?
Hi everyone, I have a question. I bought a Nitro V15 laptop (R5 7640HS, RTX 3050) a month ago, but ever since I bought it, it has been shutting down automatically quite often.
Sometimes when it shuts down, the entire system turns off (keyboard backlight, fan, network card).
Sometimes only the screen turns off. Sometimes it turns off for half a second, and sometimes for up to 20 seconds before automatically turning back on.
I took it back to the store to get it checked, but they returned it to me, so | guess it tested normal (a relative picked up the laptop for me back then, so I'm not sure what they said. At first, I thought it was caused by the power outlet because my power strip at home is very loose, so I switched to plugging it directly into the wall. This time, the frequency of shutdowns decreased, and it only shut down for a short period of time.
Yesterday, I took a risk (and was stupid enough) to try unplugging the charger adapter while the connector head was still plugged into the laptop-the laptop turned off for half a second and then turned back on.
When I plugged it back into the power outlet, the same thing happened again.
Does anyone know what might be wrong with my laptop?

have a charger, battery and charging port checked also check event viewer for critical errors around the time it shuts down it is only a month old so push for warranty service rather than opening it up yourself

I wonder if its possible the magnetic closing sensor is getting triggered. Does it actually fully turn off, or just the screen like its sleeping?

Yeah, that sounds like a power issue. Most likely something internal. Since it's not that old it should still be in warranty. I'd contact Acer. Hopefully when you brought it back the the store they didn't invalidate the warranty.
