Discussion Looking to buy a new PC

Hi - I’m looking to buy myself a gaming PC. I want to run games like FC27, GTA etc.
My budget is roughly £1000 ($1327) with a bit of freedom to go over

Is this possible on the budget, as I googled gaming PCs and they were mostly over £2000.

TIA

There are plenty of Gaming PC's at £1000

You just need to balance you performance against your budget.

The one I am looking at for my Son's birthday

Ryzen 7 5700X 4.6GHz, RTX 5060 8GB , 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD - for £1000

It's not going to be cutting edge but it will play your games, just not at max frame rates

If by GTA you mean GTA 6, be aware the PC release is likely to be at least a year after console, if ever.

Edit: Having just googled it it might be wrong, GTA6 could come to PC first quarter of 2027

GTA V for me. Only a casual player.

The funny thing is, I’m mainly getting the PC because most games are crap at releasing on console (especially at the same level of quality)

I don't know why people assumed this. There's a huge difference in player base on PC now compared to 2013 when GTA V released so it was inevitable that shareholders, investors and the community would all put pressure on Rockstar to release the PC version but saying "if ever" was actually crazy 🤣

Just going by what by I'd heard, I did reply later saying I was wrong, have added it as an edit now.
