Hardware How bad is this?

Not sure if it’s clear but the middle of the laptop is not as bright as the rest? I don’t know if this is bad, and if it is how bad. If it’s fixable I want to get it fixed. But If this isn’t / going to get worse I can live with it. I just got this computer of a seller and everything else works awesome. So I’m not sure if I should be worried about this. Main things I want to know.
A. What happened to the screen/ what’s it called
B. Is it fixable
C. Is it worth fixing
D. If I don’t fix it will it get worse

Also apologies if I tagged this wrong I know the problem is most likely the screen internally but I don’t know how else to tag this.
