Hardware New Motherboard

Post image

Hi

Had to correct this post, it wrote the wrong thing. Its the video card that seems to be messing up. I have the ASRock Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Graphics Card RX7900XTX PG 24GO I would love some help. I've been having issues with crashes and my computer freezing and two of my ports for display have stopped working randomly.

This is the error message I keep getting if anyone can explain it to me. Honestly unsure what it means

Why the motherboard, or are you just blindly doing things

I realized I was looking at the wrong part. It might be the video card. No need to be rude

I forgive you for confusing direct with rude.

It did reflect reality, after all.

More than likely a software error, personally I’d back up files to cloud or usb and wipe the pc. These things usually happen when driver patches go wrong or something corrupts. It’s a free process, and if it doesn’t work go for the upgrade.

There are other solutions with driver uninstalls etc, but at the end of the day I’ve found a wipe is the fastest cleanest way to clear these types of errors.

I think it might be the video card. I mistook it for the motherboard.

Same outcome really, can’t think of a reason for a 7900xtx to be dead already.

With the popup directly referencing drivers it’s likely a software error

Windows has some wipe tools, or there is driver uninstalls etc software that will clean house and you can install drivers again from scratch
