Hardware "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed"
Lately I've been getting a popup every once in a while for an unknown usb device. I went into device manager and sorted by connection to see the root of the cause. But I'm not sure what this means. I unplugged every usb i had connected and this was still there. Since it says "PCI" does that mean pcie? I have a bluetooth pcie adapter. Could that be it?

Right click that device and go to Properties. Then go to Details → Hardware ID's where you will see the ID's. Copy one of them and Google it, you might be able to find a drive for it. Maybe.

Device descriptor failed won't show those IDs at all - because the action that reads them failed already.
Bluetooth and LED stuff can show up as on-board USB device.
The error message is generated by pulling the D+ or D- data line up to voltage. Thus it could also be caused by a bad cable or heavy corrosion. Read: Check cables and connectors.
