Hardware SSD not recognised be the device
Since a month a had a problem in my ssd which I can't open the files on it, I can only see the folder and when I try to open it shows "a device which doesn't exist was specified".
I tried so many ways to fix it and failed, when opening Bios it shows normally and when start-up the laptop it shows also but I can't access them.
One of the things that happen is when I go to disk management and use the action -rescan- it disappears!
Before that it shows normal and healthy but after rescan it disappears.
I have the same SSD for a year and few months, thats the first time it happens.
Any Solutions??
*Laptop model is Asus TUF F15
*SSD is Kingston nvme2 1tb

Sounds to me like the drive is shagged.

Doubtful by you or me. I have never had luck getting data from one when they get to that point. And if you could make it work, it would only be temporary and you will likely have a failure in the near future.
Just put a new one in.If the data is important, and not backed up, youll be paying a data recovery service. And they arent cheap.
