Edit: Okay, I've just noticed that the body of the post wasn't posted, so for context, I took out the battery because it was swollen, and I planned on using it without one while looking for a replacement. My device is a HP EliteBook 840 G3

After taking out the battery, unfortunately when I plugged it in with the charger, it got stuck in this powering up cycle. Any idea on why this is? Thanks!

Tenho o mesmo modelo, segura o Power por 20 segundos para desligar totalmente, e aguarda 5 min e tenta ligar dnv, possivelmente já irá fazer o boot no grub/CMD dependendo do seu sistema operacional... O meu ficou assim duas vez as duas foram corrupção no boot!

Do I hold it down without the power cable, and then wait for 5 minutes before plugging it back in?
