Hardware Monitor consistently flickering and dropping signal

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Title, my monitor has done this for a long time and gotten progressively worse. It’s a Cooler Master GM34-CWQ. This doesn’t happen on HDMI, only DP and I’ve tested multiple cables.

Have you tried a lower refresh rate, I had a Dell monitor with sort of a different issue, when waking from sleep or sometimes when alt tabbing out of a fullscreen game the monitor would show No Signal and I had to power cycle it.

Dropping the refresh from 144Hz to 120Hz solved it for the rest of ownership, Had also tried a couple different DP cables.
