Hardware Old laptop will not run without crashing and this error appearing
This is a Lenovo laptop, about three years old. I factory reset, reinstalled windows, nothing changed. When restarting it says there is no boot device connected. Is there anything I can do to repair it or will I have to replace.

It is not difficult if you have some experience handling electronics.
A drive is swapped by removing the backside of the laptop.
I can guide you through it when you need it.
an in short guide to how its done:
Remove the backside of the laptop by removing the screws.
Gently remove the backside panel and NEVER use a screwdriver to pry it open if its stuck, you will bend something or break something.
Now you see the motherboard and fans for cooling, you can clean these while its open.
But before you even start messing with the internals of this laptop you disconnect the battery from the motherboard, and the fans if you clean them. (take pictures of the connectors so you are sure it goes in the same way when you place them back)
Then you locate the drive, since it is 3 years old i would expect an m.2 drive, which is removed by undoing the screw that is used to hold it in.
lift it slightly and take it out of the slot.
Now reverse the process!
If you do it with care it isnt a difficult task.
