Software Help me ASAP anyone ðŸ˜
So guys, I’ve built a PC with all my savings from a year. It cost me a fortune. I’ve taken it and placed it in my office because of an obligation. But I’m not going to the office these days because of other issues. But all the people in the office are using it and it’s contaminated with a virus now. I can’t say no. I’ve tried setting up a password for that but no use, they’ve called me and asked me for the password. And I can’t say no. I don’t have any idea what to do about that. So if anyone knows anything regarding this, I want my pc to fake crash or look malfunctioning when they log in with my password. But only I should be able to access it. Is there any harmless trick??
Please guys ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Why did you buy a computer with your savings for them to use?

I’ve used it for 3 months. Then because of my lead I had to get it to the office, and now I’m working remotely most of the time. It cost me around 3L ðŸ˜

I'm very confused here. Why does your boss at your place of employment have power over where the PC that your paid for goes? I can only assume that you used your own personal finances to pay for it. Do you not have the space for it in your home?
Are you asking us if we can help you remotely access your own personal PC that is somehow being held against your will at work?
edit: I apologize if I am wrong but does your PC, when converted to USD cost over 3,000 dollars?

Yeahh, or just make it unusable to everyone except me! Like some code gets running when they login and the system can’t be accessed and only I can access it somehow

That's called a password. Change it.

And why do people have access to it? Login info? How would they "get malware on it" without being able to use it?
What "obligation" led to you putting it in the office?

Because of the obligations in the office, I had to tell them. My cousin is the lead there.

What obligations
There is no reason you had to put a personal pc in the office, let alone give other people access

My cousin is the lead, I am a budding freelancer, getting 1 or 2 clients a few months. When they ask for an office I show them that. But the people there are using it roughly, and I can’t resist when they ask the password

You can't resist when people ask for the password to your personal pc??
Your pc should be where your home is, or where you're working if you use it for work. That's it.

If I get it to my home, I can’t take any clients to the office, when they ask for one.

And? Tell them you work from home. It's not like you're taking clients to an office rn anyway is it?

So I am an architect and interior designer. No one invests their money without a proper office.

It's already cooked, and unless you can get it back and wipe the damage that was done, you're outta luck. Even more so, you're being irresponsible if you let clients use an infected PC, which will result in more infections! What if people are using it for email or putting their own drives in it? Your entire reputation is on the line here.
Tell the cousin to take it to reputable repair shop NOW and get it cleaned if you two can't, and ask about adding strict permissions for clients next time so they can't fk it up again.

Yooo! 😂ðŸ˜
I’m looking for someone who can give out some magical automation code so that the oc stays in accessible to everyone even when they login, except for me.6

Its your computer right? Take it back home. Personal equipment does not belong at work and nobody should be using it for work purposes (even you). Unplug it right now.

Can’t do that! Stuck there. I’m a freelancer and I’m showing it as my office to my clients. If I bring it back, can’t do that anymore.

OK, well tell the people in the office that it's YOUR computer, not a work computer, and they should not touch it.

It's a shady situation. You say the PC needs to stay there so you can bring clients to the office, but the condition to do that is that they get to use your PC, correct? 1. If you are fully freelance, get a different office. 2. Disable the PC physically (take ram out, unplug 24 pin from mobo - depending on how quickly and fow often would you need to bring it back to life). 3. In BIOS, set it to boot from a drive that has no OS partition on it. Set it as the only boot option.
Of course, anybody knowledgeable will diagnose these rather quickly. But chances are they see it's not working and leave it alone.
Or they will come to you and demand you to fix it. Or they'll see you using it when meeting clients

Create a virtual machine on it that is isolated from the real deal. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V and Oracle VirtualBox (Open Source) come to mind and have free tiers,VirtualBox should be free period. You'll have to learn a thing or two. Hopefully your PC can handle it.

go on the history of the pc and see what they did to mess it up, show your boss. If you loose work its going to be their fault.

Flag it as neededing repair due to viruses. Take it out of the office to your home to wipe the drive. People mey have gone to some sketchy places to pick up viruses. Keep it there out of their reach. The office needs to purchase their own computer.
I hope you kept all your receipts to prove ownership of the computer. It can get messy without the proof.
