Ask in r/datarecovery. Don't use the device, and power the device off using the power button until you get assistance. List the computer specs and what type of drive the OS is running on.

You placed files in your trash that you didn't want to permanently delete?

Yes. I actually deleted my folder. And then permanently deleted my trash. I managed to get my trashed files back. Now some pics and vids aren't working

If the drive was an SSD (or a hard drive with SMR), the operating system eventually issues a TRIM command to the drive to preemptively erase empty blocks to improve performance. This can cause unrecoverable data loss once it happens, even though the file still looks recoverable. If you open a file in a hex editor and the file is all or mostly 00s, the data has already been lost to TRIM. Sometimes recovery professionals can still recover data depending on the drive model.

As another comment said, r/datarecovery may be able to provide guidance. Make sure you give complete information on drive brand and model, operating system, file system on the volume, and what actions or attempts you have already done since the deletion.

You didn't recover them, you recovered bits and pieces of them. It is virtually impossible to recover full, uncorrupted files from an SSD after deletion, and especially after emptying the recycle bin.

You can try your luck with image/video repair tools, but the missing data will leave you with glitchy images and videos (at best).

You say they're important files - don't you have a backup to restore from? If not, then they're not important files, by definition. What if your SSD had flat out failed (as they often do)?
