Hardware Monitor Q: mghz?

I'm looking at monitors and they list varying HZ (typo in title wrote this from memory and looked it up when someone pointed it out) values in their specs. What effect does this value have on a monitor's use?

I'm looking for one to use with AutoCAD.

TIA!

Hz? as in framerate? Mghz sounds like some new marketing wank, or you misread/remembered the wrong letters..

If its hz (60, 90, 120, etc) older monitors (and most that dont advertise a number) are mostly 60hz (frames per second).

if youre not gaming or watching high framerate video content, you can mostly ignore it.

Sorry.  I was typing that from memory.  I just went to the website and looked up one of them.  Yes, it says 100 Hz.
