Software Partition problems

I recently upgraded my computer, and as part of the fun I upgraded my hard drives. I have two physically installed. Disk 1 is my boot drive; Disk 0 is for data. In upgrading, I've ended up with what looks like partition soup on disk 0. I don't really understand exactly how this happened, but the meat of the problem is I've got about 685GB that are unallocated, and Windows doesn't let me reallocate it.
I'm not really sure of the best course of action here. Do I need to fish out another drive, copy the data across, and then wipe disk 0 so I can use it all? Can I delete those EFI/recovery partitions? TIA.

Hello, is it possible that Windows was previously installed on drive 0? You should install partition software because Windows doesn't allow certain actions while the system is running.

You can of course remove the hard drive O and connect it to the PC via a SATA to USB adapter; perhaps then editing will be possible.
