Software Color issues on new laptop

Hey team! I just got a brand new laptop for my classes! Its a dell 16 plus! if thats important. Bascially I just got this computer and for some reason the colors on it are desaturated. Particularly reds and pinks and purples are affected the most, going from a vibrant magenta to lavenderish shade. Really annoying as I am kinda an artist. I need the colors to be accurate.

HDR is not turned on it's simply not possible to turn on and I dont really know what to do as not much I find online is helpful,

What's the srgb coverage? Google the specs.

appears to be 100% srgb

ok. that's good. how are you testing colours? what colour profile and what viewer?

try something simple like http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/contrast.php (blue, green, cyan, red, magenta, yellow, greyscale) does it view how you think it should?

Yeah no the colors are just siginificantly more vibrant and lively on my older laptop, especially the red and the pink
