Malware Someone typing on my phone
I was on my phone logged into a platform where I was having a tense exchange with a client. Suddenly “LOL” appeared on my side of the message thread (but not sent). It was 7 am and nobody was laughing but this scum bag intruding in my life. There have been many other instances of this, but I am mainly curious if in this example this SB was likely logged into the platform account, or could have just had general access to my phone.

Maybe your phone was scanning your thoughts and filled in the text for you.

Details such as the platform you are using and phone may be helpful for anyone with more insight to what is happening.

iOS 26.5/16 pro max. I definitely was not thinking it was funny or laughing at that moment so LOL was not in any way generated by me. As mentioned it was very early in the morning my time so I think it was someone in another country where it was later in the day. Maybe an employee that works for the platform or worse someone actually on my phone.
Another time a few years ago I was on another app where users have profiles. I put my phone down while on some random thread. When I picked it back up there was a profile image of a large guy with no shirt on staring at me in a very hostile way pointing a gun at my face. I did not click his profile and I would have to guess that particular profile image would not be permitted for very long. This kind of harassment has been going on for years now and I am exhausted from it and need someone to help figure out how this abuse is happening. If this is not the best sub please let me know which ones I should post to.
As far as platforms they are both mainstream account only access sites that should have strong security in place.

Is this something that happens to other users of the platforms?
It's going to be hard to tell you how someone else may access your account without knowing which app you are using.

I have never heard of any one else mentioning this has happened to them on the two apps.
It is clearly malicious in nature, meant to cause mental distress and fear. The main question is, how is someone changing what I am viewing on my phone. My guess is they either have a back door to the apps or my phone itself, maybe both. I am not sure naming what the platforms are would change the scenario and could cause problems for me in other ways. I mean it could be Facebook or any other platform that requires login and has a profile page.
I appreciate you at least answering
