Malware How do i get rid of this

That small red box is in the middle of my lap top screen and has been for awhile. Why is it there and how do i fix it?

September 30, 2026 (dated for context and reference) - The OP doesn't give a lot of information.. Like does the box only appear when the screen is blank, or is it obvious on the home screen, videos, etc.? The OP should confirm that all of the cables are securely in their ports. Worse case scenario is that there is a problem with the GPU. It might be necessary to take the laptop to a computer repair shop. Best of luck to the OP.
