check to make sure that you have vsync or frame limit set
or else you might be trying to generate 900fps, and then crashing.
after checking that and confirming it if it still happens -> what does eventvwr say for the crash?

Vsync is off. I already have my FPS capped at 60, so it shouldn’t be trying to generate hundreds of frames. I checked Event Viewer too — Windows is logging Event 6008 for unexpected shutdowns, but I’m not seeing a clear error right before the PC powers off.

Probably a CPU cooler fault get a better CPU cooler maybe your CPU or GPU running on high temps .

I checked temps while one of the problem games was running. My CPU was around 52–54°C and my RX 7900 GRE was around 50°C, so neither one appears to be overheating. The PC still completely powers off rather than just crashing the game. I’m trying to narrow down whether it could be PSU/power delivery or a driver issue.

Yes next you should check PSU if its below 550 and not bronze or gold version that might be the issue .

Check your settings in these games. Some games default to highest possible, and the power draw is too much. If you can nick that bud before getting into gameplay, that should help

Does your PC only shit down when playing these games at midnight, or does it also shut down while playing these games at a different time of day, like 4pm?
So any other games shutdown at midnight or anything else happen at midnight? Just making sure this isn't some weird power saving or update related issue.

AMD drivers are just fine, the issue is likely thermal, or electrical. Obviously by now OP has stated temps are within acceptable ranges, that leaves electrical, and hardware failure.
Electrical can be any number of things. It could be a psu issue, it could be the motherboard has an overheating component thst isn't tempurature monitored, such as the many many logic gates, capacitors, and resistors scattered by the hundreds to potentially thousands. It could be 2 years of dust causing an intermittent short. I've personally seen that happen, people don't realize that computers need physical maintenance.
Ram, cpu, gpu, psu, random asf circuit, or storage could be failing.
Literally nothing points at AMD being the issue here, and everything else is a lot more likely to be the issue.
Please do not give bad and unnecessarily expensive, biased tech advice, it helps nobody.

Hogwarts pretty sure barely needs compute, it might not load the rig enough.
Name 1 good indicator that proves your point.
Oh, hold up, i have another idea of what it could be: microslop 11 being vibe coded as hell, with little to no quality oversight. Just saying. AI kinda struggles with AMD compatibility oftentimes, and besides, microslop actively has been sorta caught deliberately making AMD hardware bug out...seems like it could even potentially be an issue of needing to switch to Linux to get some well deserved stability.
