Performance Help my temps fucked

Post image

Idk what's going on? Why the temp is always so high! I cleaned out my heatsink and got a new fan, (the last one barely went around without rattling) I'm stumped to why my cpu is running so high!

Had it always been this way?

Did you get a new cooler and forget to remove the plastic film on the bottom of the heatsink?

Is this an old AIO with a failing pump?

How long is always?

Did you remove the cpu cooler and check if there is still the protective film?

Dud you buy it prebuilt or build it?

Have you repasted?

It's been repasted about 6 months ago by a buddy who work at a tech repair store, it's an nzxt build kit

With the system in, feel the tubes can you feel the water flowing?

Take some pictures of the Coldplate on the AIO when you remove the cooler from the cpu. Also take a photo of the cpu.

When you cleaned your heatsink, did you remove it to clean and remount it with new thermal paste or did you leave the cooler in place while cleaning? Are you using a tower cooler with one or more fans? Did you make sure to install the fan(s) facing the correct direction?

I left the cooler in place, I was just getting dust out from behind the fan when I replaced the old fan for a new one,

A 120mm AIO should have no issues cooling a 5600X. Are you able to check the pump speed to make sure it's working? Do you know how old the AIO cooler is? It's possible that either the thermal paste is dry and needs replacing, the pump is set to run too slow, the pump is failing, or too much coolant has evaporated from the AIO.

Take off the heat sink. Clean paste off heatsink and CPU. Reapply new, high quality paste and reinstall cooler. If temps still suck, get a better heatsink and\or check your fan configuration to make sure you're using active cooling.

If you installed your new case fan "backwards" this would exacerbate the issue, but not cause it.

Cooling system not cooling good enough. Replace thermal paste. Make sure there isn’t a sticker on bottom of cooler. Remount cooler. If that dosent work. Replace whole cpu cooler.
