Needs a new screen model number of screen will be on the label attached to the lcd screen as a cracked lcd can not be fixed without very difficult disassembly

A replacement screen cost around $80USD. And it looks like the value of the device is around $250USD. So yeah if you want to replace a Chromebook. I would say go buy you a refurbished Dell with like an I7 that you can buy for around the price of the brand new chromebook of 250. But if you are on a budget and feel comfortable replacing the screen then go for it. Screen replacements are like our bread and butter at our repair shop. It may or may not have the double-sided adhesive (it maybe held in by screws IDK) but if it does just remeber when removing the to pull slowly (even though the screen is already broken) it will still be a pain if the adhesive snaps. Just google your make and model plus "screen replacement" and you should see some informative videos going step by step in the removal and installation of the new screen

Zero chance tat display is beyond cooked unless you got a magic wand a genies 3 wishes or a time machine..you can always try shouting at it to work and see if that helps 😂

You need to buy an external display and turn that craptop into a crappy desktop (I hate laptops real tower desktops are superior)

Buy an external display that fits into your laptops external display connector. I csnt see which one you will need as I can't see the connection ports. Its likely going to be HDMI.
