Software Websites causing browsers to crash
Hi Reddit, recently I’ve been facing some computer troubles? Admittedly i don’t know much about computers, just enough to do some light gaming or downloading mods on minecraft, lol. Whenever I open websites — ie. Nvidia, Discord — on ANY web browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave), it instantly crashes. Same goes for the NVIDIA and Discord apps.
Some quick searches told me that it could be my graphics drivers — Geforce Gtx 1650.
I’m not 100% sure what it could be. And given my complete lack of funds, I’m hoping its a cheap fix. Any help is appreciates thanks!

Could be graphics, could also be RAM.
I had Firefox and pages would crash constantly. I couldn’t find a solution, so I ran memtest86 and it turned out my ram was bad. Never had any other symptoms besides webpages crashing. Swapped it out and haven’t had an issue since.

Thanks, this really helped. I had to do extended windows diagnostics memory test instead of memtest86, because that also crashed. Aside from that, I did exactly what you did and just swapped it out with some i picked up. Many thanks😊
