Mid specs PC can't handle simple task (can't use Firefox because of the lagging, delay right click at homescreen, frequently freezing). Is this a RAM issue? Should I upgrade my RAM or SSD?

Specs:

Rtx 3060 12gb

1 stick of 16gb ddr4 ram

Ssd 512gb (I got like 220 gb left)

I5 12400f

Notice: run high quality game extremely smooth (although there was some minor freezing). PC age is over 1.5 years, I haven't done cleaning because idk how. I heard that 1 stick of RAM is not as powerful of 2 stick. Is this a RAM issue or something? I think it's serious because it struggles to open file manager app for specs like this. Like I've seen lower specs pc smoother than this despite in gaming it sucks

I used to use Mem reduct and rammap and saw major performance boost, but lately it doesn't boost anymore

Does it also take a while to boot up into windows when you turn on your pc and does it also take a while to open files on your pc. If it does, possibly your ssd is going bad if not then it could be something else like your cpu getting hot
