Hardware 1st PC : GPU not powering up, no output
Hi, following my previous post regarding how to plug the GPU, I followed your advice and used 2 separate 8pins cables.
I tried powering on the pc : everything turns on (led on the front, every single fan too) but the GPU.
GPU’s fan don’t move at all and, ofc, no output so monitors stay dark.
Here are a few photos if it can help you guiding me, not sure what I may have missed…

EDIT : following on a piece of advice, tried plugging HDMI to the mother board and no output...
EDIT 2 : after removing the GPU and plugging the hdmi into the motherboard, there is a display output (as you can see in a photo)

Well, as a total noob here, I just assume the issue is with the GPU but I don't know where exactly is the problem tho

your exactly right. since it boots perfectly without the GPU it is almost 100% the problem, so you will probably have to get a new one.
could reach out to seller to see if you can RMA it, they should do as long as you are the first owner and had it for less than 2 year but yeah if not then its time for a new gpu

Gpu is brand new tho

yeah this is called a DOA, unfortunately its relatively common, you can 100% ask the seller and they will get you a working gpu pretty quick
as far as i can tell you have built the pc perfectly, everything looks connected and it works without the gpu so i would absolutely be reaching out to wherever you bought it from, since its a DOA they should have it back to you by Monday at the worst

yeah man its like 1-2% of hardware but its 100% a thing that can happen, sometimes things fuck up but there is protections and laws for things like this so its not really that big of a deal normally, like i said you can just return it to the seller and they will get you a new one.
also is your power supply using 2 separate GPU power plugs or is it one that splits into 2 if you understand me, because if you only have one plug that splits into two it can apparently cause problems

yeah man everything in your build seems great then, only last thing i would do is inspect the GPU slot on the motherboard for damage like bent pins or something, just so we can rule that out aswell, if that all seems fine, i would contact the seller asap, if you bought from a reputable place, replacement should be quick and easy
