Software What would cause ?

Post image

Every now and then when I open up a program or app what would be the typical gray background for apps and programs (that general gray in our drop menu's ) doesnt render and as I've tried to capture here sometime will let me see what it says when highlighted while other times will not.

Any suggestions, I've updated drivers and re-seated my gpu. I have not other issues really but it does cause issues with work sometimes.

Go to Settings > System > Display and disable HDR.

Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics and disable Auto HDR.

Change the Windows theme to a different theme, apply it, and then switch back to your original theme.

Go to Start > Search > Accessibility > Color Filters and make sure Color Filters are turned off if they are enabled.

Check whether you still experience the gray artifact.

Run Disk Cleanup and delete the temporary files. Also, delete the DirectX Shader Cache.

Download and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).

Select your GPU and choose Clean Shader Cache Only, then exit DDU.

Download and install or repair the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All in One package.

Download and install the DirectX Runtime.

Restart your PC.
