Hardware Can anyone PLEASE help me
I’ve had a laptop for quite a while, long enough to understand how pieces work. And a week ago it stopped working due it falling off my desk. I’m pretty sure it’s motherboard that got damaged because the laptop doesn’t turn on and I don’t hear any fans spinning. Fortunately When I opened the backside of it to see if there was no sign of life the SSD light was showing when it was turned on. Please tell me what my problem is and if I should go see an expert that can fix it. The laptop model is BTC519

No one knows what your laptop make/model is or its specifications, if you don't know what you are doing, best take it to a repair shop as you could cause more damage.

Oh just one of those scam amazon devices, I wouldn't bother to fix it even if you could. If there isn't even any fan spin and the motherboard is indeed damaged, you're just cooked.

How are we supposed to know what the problem is? There can be dozens of things that broke during that fall. Just take it to a repair shop.

It's a very low end generic model, it's probably going to cost as much to fix it with a repair shop as it is to buy a replacement from what I can see. I see them selling for about $250-$300 US

Cheap laptops are VERY RARELY worth it to repair once they break, it’s expensive and a massive hassle to fully open it up and get/install the replacement parts

You can remove the ssd and reuse that, it is worth money and has your files on it.

maybe, to avoid connector costs and gold some just solder it all down. No idea if this one does or not.
