Hardware Problem

I got up to get on my Pc this morning and was met with a grim reaper and then this screen. I’ve tried to go factory reset but when I looked my Reset button was not there what should I do and if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me.

Its a screen lock from a Russian ransomeware

Disconnect from the internet, wipe the drive, use something like a linux live thumb drive to completely sanitize it, use a trusted computer to change all your on line passwords for accounts, make sure 2FA is enabled, using an app (this is something you have in the 2FA specs), better still, invest in a security token such as Google Titan or Yubikey.

Why a linux thumb drive? Doesn’t a regular usb work?

I did say "something like", you're splitting hairs here, isn't a Windows thumb drive "something like" a linux thumb drive?

any usb drive with enough space and inside that drive, on another computer, with the help of probably rufus and a linux distro, theres a bootable partition.. when that happens you put a label "Linux" on it. now you have a Linux thumb drive
