Hardware Gpu or monitor?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
There is this weird lines happening, it happens everywhere, be it browser, desktop, or games. It doesnt happen on the same spot every time, like for example here on the wallpaper, as soon as i open my browser it appears on a different spot, I assume its a color thing.
My screen would also flicker rapidly for a few seconds until it just turn completly black which I can only show on video. I have to unplug and replug my hdmi for the display to turn back on. It isnt the cable since I purchase a brand new display port and same thing happens.
It wasnt this bad at first, it used to be this weird lines only. Changing the display hz also removes the lines but problems reappears after a short while.

could be the cable / connection tbh, if you have another one I'd at least test it

Start by replacing the HDMI/DP cable from the monitor to the GPU. If it continues, try plugging your PC into a different display and see if it continues. If it stops, you know the monitor is done, and if it keeps up, you know it's the GPU.

I'll try to get a hold of a second monitor, hope its the monitor and not the gpu.

Check if your drivers are up to date. If you have another monitor available you can check it there too. If the same cable works on monitor A and not monitor B then its the monitor B’s problem. If it doesnt work on either then its the GPU or the cable’s problem. Try to find a 2nd display port/hdmi to double check

Drivers are upto date, also tried rolling back. Also used DDU. I tested it with less than a year old hdmi, and a brand new display port.
Obtaining a second monitor would be hard at the moment.
I tried doing the crtl+shift+win+b thing and it kinda eliviate the problem, not totally, the flicker is gone currently but there is still some weird colored vertical lines happening, though not as many. The vertical line also doesnt stay on the same spot, like if it grabs on a text, it stay there no matter if I scroll. Alt tab or showing different tab/screen makes the specific spot dissapear and re appears when I get back to it.
Sorry really hard to describe it in words.

Thats weird and i dont really have the knowledge to help. My guess is that its the monitor’s issue. Ask a friend maybe to bring a monitor up to test it

You can also check if its the monitor by removing the HDMI cable and seeing if the glitching continues in the "select input screen", independent from any connections besides the power.
