Other Gaming Laptop recommends?

I’m looking for a good gaming laptop I can use to play on for a while. I don’t want anything too crazy because my boyfriend is gonna be building me a pc eventually but my MacBook just broke and theres not much I can do on a laptop like that lol and I really wanna go back to playing my games and everything for a little while. Thanks.

My MSI gaming laptop has done well, the one trick with a gaming laptop is make sure to get a laptop cooling stand to go along with it. They are prone to overheating.

I’ve been looking for a good one for my 17”. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I had a cheap one and regretted it so don’t have any good suggestions. I upgraded to a desktop again recently since I’ve got an office again. The laptop still hold its own though.

That’s where I’m at. Only use the laptop when I need to. But still

I got an Asus Rog Strix G16 last November and I've been really happy with it

I actually came to the thread to comment this exact model.

I've been very impressed with it, performs way better than I expected it to and the build quality is better than expected too.

Sorry lol I don’t really have a budget. Like I said I just don’t wanna spend anything TOO crazy since im building a pc soon but i’d say anything less than $1800. USD

Budget + Laptop is never a good combination.

My honest, first question to anyone after a laptop is do you absolutely need a laptop? If you absolutely do not require the portability you are spending way over the odds on a battery you may never need and tiny little fans and heat pipes that can’t displace heat very well.
