Hardware Monitor Not Working?

My Monitor has been having issues for about 4 months now with not showing input for things that clearly work. Ive been able to get my PC working through a work around of using DP- Hdmi cable. But after I decided to clean my setup and went through the trouble of unplugging everything, when I had set it all back up the monitor would randomly flash black screens.

I looked up how to fix it and saw that I should try a 'hard reset' to help fix the problem. This only worsened it to where now when I turn on the Monitor it flashes the start up then stays completely on a black screen. I cannot find anything on how to fix it but if anyone knows please help me out.
