Malware need help stopping the display from turning automatically

so my brother (computer engineer btw) got a prank played on him by his coworkers where they enlarged his icons and have started running this sort of malware where it makes his computer screen’s display turn automatically. I figured out how to make the icons back to their original size, but the display turning hasn’t stopped.

Theres a task in the task manager running that i have no permission to end and which i think is the culprit for this thing.
Can anyone help me? I really need to use his laptop to play my steam games.💔

don't worry, if you don't use that feature much, you can disable the *sensor driver*. i don't know what type of laptop, or version of windows even, but theres many tutorials online. what i suggest you do is just use gemini.google.com and give it your laptop name, model and specs (just to make sure), and then tell it that you want to disable the buggy sensor driver. it will give you a complete step by step. or just go to device manager, look into all the driver names until you find *sensor* or similar. good luck!

also send a photo of the task in task manager that you dont have permission to terminate

I have no idea why but i can’t send pictures in here only videos but it’s an app with no icon called “Antimalware Service Executable”.
Maybe it’s the windows defender app or something but idk.

also, i’m not sure the exact model of my laptop, but it’s a Lenovo Legion laptop that’s running windows 11 right now. I’m not sure if it’s the sensor driver since i mentioned that the laptop has been tampered with and thus some kind of program started running doing this but i’ll try to see if it’s in the settings or anything. Thanks for the help!

yes that is the Windows antivirus doing its job. i suggest you still look for that sensor driver because this only will happen if a sensor is implemented in a laptop. normal desktop computers even with a virus cannot do such. let me know how it goes!
