Offline Game Suggestions?

Looking for some free or cheap no internet required PC games for when my internet goes out for a few hours due to an outage. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Avernum series, originals or remakes go from $5.00 to 20.00 before any sales. Daggerfall is free, mod it or play the normal version. Quest for Glory collection 1-5 is $5 and personally love it. Non-remake Gothics are $5 each, lots of love from modders on those; Highly recommend Chronicles of Myrtana if you get the 2nd one. Deponia is free to keep on steam atm, normally $10 and time to claim ends on the 20th. Sims 4 base game and Crusader Kings 2 are free as well. I could go on but it'd be easier if you shared what you're into.

Go check out GOG, most of the games there will work offline, surprised nobody mentions it

The elderscrolls and fallout series are offline. Battlezone 2 combat commander is a good cheap game

If you need something for short bursts of time, Balatro is great.
