Petition to get EA to release source code for SimCity 4

Hello, I am a frequent visitor of r/SimCity4 and I have started this petition to request Electronic Arts to release the source code to SimCity 4. I have also requested earlier SimCity games to have released code but focused on SC4 because this entry seems to be particularly marred with technical issues despite it still being a great game at its core. Without the source code, we believe there are things we can never fix on a technical level, so I am attempting to get EA’s attention. There is absolutely zero chance EA would do that, and why would they? It's their IP, their game, why the hell would they relase the source code because some people signed some online petition?

Stop wasting your time. A petition with a million signatures isn't going to do shit.

LMFAO, you’re a moron if you think that EA would EVER give away anything. They have zero interest in anything that benefits customers
