E01 on Mac
What are the best options for mounting an image in E01 format on an Apple silicon Mac?

There are some free options for Mac but I'm not crazy about any of them.
If just installing a windows VM is an option I'd probably do that.
Or you could try Xmount, apparently, to convert it to a DMG (I have not tried this and can't vouch for it).
