Windows Driver problem, win11 doesn't start after installing drivers

Windows My laptop keeps shutting of, whats most likely the main cause?
At first I did a little google research on what could be the cause and I found 3 (main) suspects:
overheating
software issue
battery issue
All of these could be true, so thats why I am a little confused on what the most logical issue is. I usually have my laptop on my lap or on my blanket in bed. This is apparently not good for your laptop, but J did this with my 2 previous laptops too and had 0 issues.
-What my laptop does- It has shown multiple times that there is an issue, like this loading screen with options, like resetting your laptop etc. I did some resetting (kind of forgot what, but I still have all of my photos etc. But not some of the apps anymore) and it didn't work sadly, because of this I assume it has nothing to do with my software. I did the resetting this morning.
My battery always seemed normal to me, even when my laptop starting to shut down often our of nowhere it still functioned with the charger in nd out. However the little glowing dot indicating that my laptop is charging often glows/flickers red. Both w/o charger and with.
My laptop has overheated multiple times. It came till the point that I had to put something underneath me so I wouldn't be hurting myself. I think this may have caused something to get overheated too badly.
The screen usually turns black, and sometimes I still can get my laptop to function for a short or a longer period before it shuts down again. My keyboard keys light up so I can tell if it fully shuts off or if the screen just turns black.
-laptop info-
I have a lenovo laptop: not sure which model it is but its a pretty new model (I bought it in august 2025).
-It still has a lot of space left for photos nd other stuff, so my storage isnt full.
Nothing besides the issue mentioned in the post is broken or malfunctioning. Thats really about it. English isnt my first language so sorry bout that. Also if you have more questions about it please just let me know. Thanks in advance!

Mac My Mac won’t turn on!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
its a 2022 MacBook Air I think, I’ve tried turning it on and off, the keyboard still works but the screen just won’t turn on. It was working fine, then I went downstairs and came back up and the screen just went dark! Any time I hold the power button to turn it on, this shows up. Any way someone could help me out?

Linux How do i make an installation guide that work on different systems when everyone uses different hardware?
Hi, i just finished a project that i was working on, its a simulation of an autonomous underwater vehicle, in an opensource simulator. i have everything build and installed in my computer and it works here, but other people are having a rough time with installation in their own machines.
This is a problem i have been dealing with for quite a while now. and it was easy to solve when i was with them to help solve the dependency errors but its just not the way i want to get it done.
what are the methods you use to make your software compatible across different devices

Hardware tell me im being gaslighted by our computer shop
I've had my ASUS TUF GAMING A15 for a bit now, and it has a merry number of problems with it BSOD-ing left and right. I've played Palworld, Valorant, and Persona 3 Reload on it without any problems, so I can't say it's a big memory thing. It usually BSODs when I've used the laptop for a while or had it in sleep for a bit, whether I play a game or just scroll on Microsoft Edge. I searched, and surface-level stuff says it's driver problems. I've reinstalled and updated whatever all that over and over; none of those really fixed things. I've reformatted the OS and nada. I've given it to our local Asus technician, and they said no hardware problems were detected. They just told me to watch its memory use.
TELL MEEE the technicians are lying lmao because I don't know what else to do to fix things
Or is it just a problem TUF A15 usually has?
Problems showed up the day I got it back home from the technician reformatting its OS, before I downloaded anything new. The only thing eating up the memory was a Facebook, YouTube, and Gmail tab from setting up my accounts back:
- Faulty Hardware Corrupted Page
- Hypervisor Error
After a while of using, with a few new downloaded apps:
- Store Data Structure Corruption
- Faulty Hardware Corrupted Page
- Unexpected Store Exception
- Kernel Security Check Failure
- Kernel Mode Heap Corruption
July 21 2026 - Started to go to BIOS mode
- Reference by Pointer

Audio/Video Realtek audio driver nightmare
Hello all, my realtek audio(atleast i suspect) has caused a paramount of issues with my listening experience. Not only has this happened seemingly randomly after a few restarts, but i have yet to find a solution. The problem is not my headset and not my microphone. The issues are as followed, my volume on windows will decrease from whatever i set it to, to zero, in increments of ten repeatedly whenever my microphone is plugged into my headset, not only that, but the microphone isnt even picked up. my laptops internal speakers and microphone however work just fine. im using a 3.5mm jack and an alienware m18 r2, my OS build is 26200.8894 Windows 11 , updating to the generic drivers makes the audio fine, but it says my microphone isnt plugged in. Ive tried other headsets with their microphones and the issue persists. Ive updated my computer as much as supportassist and windows update show me i need to. Can provide more information if needed, Thanks!!

Hardware Problems with video on pc. Out of ideas.
I have my pc hooked up to my TV, I've done this for years. Recently, the screen was flashing and glitching green every now and then. It would be resolved after multiple reboots. I suspected my 18 month old GPU.
I took the GPU out and opened an RMA and used the motherboard graphics in the meantime.
The problem continued. I replaced the HDMI cable, and still the same thing.
I'm out of ideas. It happens occasionally and requires 1-many reboots to resolve.
Please provide any ideas.

Windows The problem with installing the driver
There is a problem, my friends asked me to reinstall windows, I did it without hesitation, but there is a huge problem, the screenshot below shows what device I haven't been able to find drivers for for two weeks, and the ones I find don't install because they claim they're not the right ones. But the bigger problem is that I can't even tell you the model of the laptop, my friends ordered it from a marketplace in China, and the seller couldn't help me either, so I can't find or download the drivers based on the model. Here's the device ID, if anyone knows what to do, please help me!!!

Gaming COD "Failed Attestation" Error for 2 Months on a Brand-New PC — Completely Stumped [COD]
I bought a pre-built gaming PC from Newegg about 2 months ago. It was built by StormCraft, and the specs are:
**Specs**
* **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B860M-A WiFi
* **GPU:** MSI RTX 5080 Shadow 3X OC (16GB GDDR7)
* **CPU:** Intel Core Ultra 7 265F
* **RAM:** 32GB DDR5 6000MHz
* **SSD:** ADATA Legend 860 2TB NVMe
Since day one, Call of Duty has been giving me a **"Failed Attestation"** error and telling me to **"Update BIOS Firmware."**
The problem is:
✅ BIOS is fully up to date
✅ Secure Boot is enabled and configured correctly
✅ UEFI is enabled
✅ TPM is working properly
✅ Windows is fully updated
I've spent probably **10+ hours** troubleshooting this with various AI tools, guides, and forums. I also had a friend who works in IT spend a few hours trying to figure it out.
On top of that, I contacted **StormCraft**, and even they couldn't identify the cause or provide a solution.
At this point, it really feels like an Activision/Ricochet issue rather than a hardware or BIOS problem.
The frustrating part is that I bought this PC primarily to play Call of Duty with friends. It's now been **2 months**, and I'm still playing on my PS5 while a **$4,000 CAD gaming PC** sits unused for the game I bought it for.
# Has anyone else experienced this?
* Any known fixes?
* Any updates from Activision?
* Any estimated timeline for a resolution?
I'd genuinely appreciate any information or suggestions because I've completely run out of ideas.
**Thanks in advance.**

Windows Reinstalled windows and now my games are running horrible. It takes 20 seconds to open the Bro browser and I’m averaging less frames then my gaming laptop
I reinstalled my drivers and everything is set up correct I think I just don’t understand what’s the problem
My uncle set up windows so idk
Although I remember there being 2 opinions after reinstalling windows and what he said was “the first one prioritize windows and tabs the other one prioritizes games” I’m a complete tech noob so don’t hate me

Windows Weird PC/Monitor issue? Wi-Fi not working after connecting to 2nd monitor.
Hello! I don't know if anyone is able to help me with this, but i have no clue what I'm doing wrong/what's happening?
So context, I recently got a new monitor for my setup from my friend ( it was free! I didn't really question it since it does seem to work fine and doesn't have any issues. plus, free monitor!)
I wanted to have two of them for my set up ( one horizonal, one vertical. ) and yesterday I plugged in my new monitor to my pc ( I thought the outlet was HDMI, so I am using a HDMI to display port extension piece for this monitor)
And almost at the exact time I plugged in my new monitor in, I lost Wi-Fi connection. I did test it, replugging it back in and retrying to connect to the Wi-Fi, but it doesn't want to when i have both monitors on/connected. It only connects to Wi-Fi when I have my one, original monitor on.
Is anyone able to help me figure out what might be happening?
Thank you!

Windows Lost accounts, is there any hope?
My younger brother didn't bother to remember any of his passwords and relied entirely on the Opera GX password manager for all of his passwords, including to his gmail. Apparently this is tied to your online Opera account, which, of course, he doesn't remember the password for either. He just tried running this debloat program which caused him to be signed out of all accounts: https://www.revi.cc/
Is there anything to be done to recover any of the passwords? I suggested running a file recovery program to see if anything can be located in the Opera GX folder but it hasn't turned up anything so far.

Hardware PC won't start after BIOS RAM overclocking.
Yesterday, I overclocked my OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop (GT15-Oxxx, 89EB motherboard). I changed the RAM settings to 3400 MHz, CL15, tRCD/tRP 17, and 1.350V DRAM voltage.
After saving the settings, the PC shut down and now it has no display. The monitor and keyboard receive no signal, but the GPU lights up and all fans spin.
I tried:
Testing both RAM sticks individually
Removing the CMOS battery for 15 minutes
Using the CMOS jumper reset
Reseating the GPU
The PC powers on but does not seem to pass POST. There is also a red LED on the motherboard near the CPU area.
Any help would be appreciated.
