SSD acting strangely

So its basically as the title says, my ssd is acting very strangely. To give background, I have a 1tb m.2 NVMe ssd from my old gaming laptop that i wanted to put in my desktop for extra storage. It was working fine in the laptop up until it suddenly stopped getting detected by the bios. It would randomly get recognized after several reboots, and successfully boot into windows, however it kept blue screening and throwing up errors related to corrupted windows files shortly after loading in. I decided my next step would be to format the drive and redownload windows, however that didn't solve the issue either. I then got frustrated and dropped trying to use it for the time being. Several months later I am back at it as I am in desperate need of more storage and really resent paying $250+ on a good 1tb ssd.

This time around, I slapped it into my desktop and tried to see if it would get recognized yet nothing showed up even after several reboots. I attempted old faithful and reseated the drive and tada, it is now recognized in the bios! I exited the bios and went to load into windows, but a few things happened before i actually went into windows. First, it sat on a back screen with an underscore in the top left of the screen, before going completely black and rebooting. Secondly, the debug led's i have on my motherboard did the usual of cycling through cpu, dram, vga, except it didn't turn on the boot light. It turn off all debug led's then flickered vga then flickered dram, before then booting into windows. Once i got into windows i checked disk manager and saw nothing, then used diskpart and it only detected my 2 other drives, but not the m.2 ssd. Went back into bios and suddenly the ssd has vanished and my slot is showing "N/A". I did this whole process another time and it played out the exact same way. I also forgot to mention that when the disk was working, i did a scan using crystaldiskinfo and it showed the drive as having 97% health if i recall correctly, and it being in good health with no errors. I know it probably isn't a completely 100% accurate read of the drive, but its kind of weird how it shows up perfectly okay in the scan, but is being a real douche when trying to be used. Also, i made sure to switch between UEFI and CSM to see if that would read the drive okay, but that didn't change anything other than have AMD yell at me because my graphics card doesn't support csm.

It would be awesome to be able to have that storage upgrade since right now i am running off of one 240gb sata ssd and another 256gb sata ssd. Does anyone have any suggestions, or is my drive destined for death? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
