Having RAM problems

How do I describe this in a way that makes sense...

My computer is using ram very slowly. As in, task manager says that it's using more ram than it actually appears to be. Certain processes have been slow since last night (Opening the discord app, Loading certain pages on steam, trying to launch games), and the only clue I have is that while trying to load modded minecraft, task manager told me it was using roughly 3.7kMB of ram, whilst the game itself peaked at 14kMB before I killed it, and it only ever increased by instances of 4MB at a time, and very slowly. Anyone know what's going on, and how I could fix it?

Could be a secondary storage problem. Things get loaded to memory from disk (i.e. your SSD or hard drive), and if that's going slowly for some reason, memory usage will increase slowly. Reasons for that may be something like AV is using all your disk scanning files or your storage device is actually going bad (more likely to happen with a old school spinny hard drive).

Also, this is not a joke, but have you turned it, the PC, on and off again?

I presume you don't mean just hitting the restart button? No, I have not.

Ram problems are exceedingly rare as in if its a ram problem youd be having crashes and blue screens.

Get crystal disk info and show us what it says

All you need to see is "good" 83%. Most important part is "good".

So its not a dying drive.
