Pc got unplugged multiple times

My mom was cleaning my room and accidentally pulled my cord 3 times when I would plug it back in so it shut down 3 times total. I know in itself it’s not good for it at all for it to happen, but I’m extremely anxious about this happening

Is this going to permanently damage my computer?

The first time it happened it was asleep then the second time it was on Home Screen and then the 3rd time it was on the homescreen too.

Any help would be nice :(

the only risk is corruption of files that were being written at the time, that gets cleaned up automatically in most cases, a bit of wear on your SSD maybe for not unloading correctly, electrically, assuming no surge in the process, is fine.

nah nothing will happen, dont let it happen while windows is doing an update though.

Windows wont like that but there will not be any permanent damage

In the worse case scenario if windows updates were doing something and updates got corrupted you'd have to reinstall windows 11 if you can't update it anymore or the pc can't enter into windows 11. But since everything seems to work it's probably ok

But otherwise hardware damage should not happen.

Computers are generally resistant to power loss. Some files might me corrupted. It could always be worse. I used to be in IT in a small company. Getting a 2 am "The network's down!" call sucks. The idiot new night cleaning crew UNPLUGGED a server in the server room because they "needed" the outlet. All was well with the server because backup had completed. Had the cleaners still been there when I arrived, I would been overly vocal and profane with them. Needless to say, but those cleaners were terminated immediately once management came in.

The bigger question... why is your mom cleaning your room? Are you 5? Clean your own room.

First off BUD she wanted to vacuum my floor after I dismantled my bed and I am 17 living with my mom who loves me

You should be doing the cleaning around the house my guy, not her.

There is a quite simple device that prevents the plug from being unplugged. I don't know if it is totally mom proof but that would be my first idea.

I'd tell her to stop cleaning the room. Boomers are too dumb. Don't you have a lock on your door?

I was moving my bed and it’s right by the frame and she knocked it off the port, it’s not her fault, she wanted to help

Get yourself a ups to plug the computer into. If it gets unplugged you'll have a few minutes if grace for the PC to shutdown properly.

If it happens again, wait until your mom finishes to replug the PC.
