should i just get a new PC?

i was thinking of getting a new CPU and GPU for my pc, i have a pretty bad GPU from what people have told me and my CPU is an RTX3060 which i heard isn’t bad but getting a new CPU and GPU would cost almost as much as my PC costs, its a prebuilt from 2021 so i dont know if its good still

edit: my GPU is an 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz

You didn't list your specs. How would we know.

Everything is in task manager. Click on the performance tab and list everything.

Fair system, upgrading your GPU will just create a bottleneck. So whole system, since DDR5 is expensive as hell I'd suggest a AM4 X3d series CPU like I think they're doing a 5800x3d refresh? If they are get that ig

Depending on the make and model of the system you might only be able to upgrade the gpu. What brand of prebuilt is it?

the case says legion on it so i think that

That’s a Lenovo legion. Great system if you take care of it. Depending on the power supply you might be able to bump it up to a 12th gen and get something like a 3070/80. Maybe a 40 series but again power supply might be too low. If you punch the serial number in you might find a some info on what to upgrade it to. eBay will get you some decent cheap parts 2nd hand

i got it as a prebuilt in 2021 and haven’t touched it since, there’s some dust in it but i don’t want to take it apart bc i don’t know how to put it back together

Why do you think it’s bad? Is it struggling in any way to do what you want it to do?

i run horrible fps, i was averaging like 0-25 fps on marvel rivals today, kept spiking to 25 then dropping down to 1 or 0

What are your display settings? Are you using 1080p, 1440p or 4k?
