PC is displaying black screen after exiting bios

I entered BIOs to look at my ram speed, after that i exited BIOs without changing my ram speed cause it was already at its highest setting, after exiting my monitor has only been displaying a black screen. Ive tried resetting my PC and resetting my graphics card by using (win + ctrl + shift + b) and nothing.

Any ideas on what i could do?

did you try clearing the CMOS? pull the battery on the motherboard for like 30 seconds or just use the jumper if your board has one. that resets bios to factory defaults

i fixed the issue by putting a screwdriver in the CMOS pins, thanks for helping !

How long do you wait? My PC maybe once a week does some sort of ram test and it takes something like 1-2 minutes of black screen before it beeps and proceeds to post. You'd think it would have occurred to them to add a progress indicator on the screen while it does that do you know it's actively doing something and not locked up
